Kirkby - ATLC - Freeware (GNU license) by Dr. David Kirkby (G8WRB). ATLC stands for Arbitrary Transmission Line Calculator. Consists of several Unix programs that calculate transmission line characteristics for various geometries (coaxial cable, microstrip, etc.) including arbitrary shapes. Can also be used for designing couplers. Requires compiling with gcc (also freeware) or other C compiler.
FNC - Elcad - General purpose schematic-designer and parts-calculator. For designing antennas, LC matching networks, tuned circuits, air and toroidal-core coils, and active filters. Does transmission line calculations, antenna scaling, and all basic electronics calculations.
WAØJOW Don Cochran - TransTenna - Software for performing Smith Chart calculations on transmission lines.
